Amanda is a 2000 graduate of Wellston High School and attended Capital University. Amanda is a an accomplished singer and has performed in several community productions including the Rotary Show, Madrigal Feast, Alumni Musical, alumna band and was the Director of the Rotary Show Oleo for the past two years.

Amanda resides in Wellston with her husband Matt Petersen and daughters Alyssa, Hannah, and Caroline.
